Battery is a Japanese light novel series by Atsuko Asano that was published by Kadokawa Shoten. The series is about Harada Takumi and Gō Nagakura, two boys who start a baseball team. For the work the author received the Noma Prize for Juvenile Literature in 1997 and the Shogakukan Children's Publication Culture Award in 2005. It has sold over 10 million copies in Japan, and has been adapted into a film in 2007 and an anime television series in 2016.
Takumi Harada moves to a mountain town in Okayama prefecture during the spring break before he enters middle school due to his father's job transfer. Takumi is a pitcher, and after the moves he loses faith in his own talent, when suddenly his classmate Kō Nagakura appears in front of him. Kō has a strong desire to form a "battery" (a combination of a pitcher and catcher) with Takumi.

I don't have much to say about this anime... it was cute but I thought it'd be like Kurobas and Haikyuu!
Battery doesn't have any action or funny scenes, it's just blablablah. Some eps. made me sleepy to tell you the truth.
Also, the anime ends while they're playing the match against the other school :|
Well, I shipped Takumi x Kou a bit :x
Though, I shipped Shun x Shugo much more xD

Scored: 6.0
